Unit of Inquiry
This week, the children made art using color paper.
They have done this many times before, so they knew how fun it is!
After making their art, they tried something new, rubbing with crayons on the paper.
When they rubbed the paper with crayons, pictures appeared! It was a big surprise for everyone.
They also tried rubbing with different crayon colors.
They used new paper and made pictures appear again and again.
The children enjoyed doing this many times.
It was fun to see how art can change with simple actions.
The children also did something special — they tried Big Paint!
Before they started, the teacher asked, “When you feel happy, how do you want to move your body?”
The children showed how they like to move when they feel happy. Some jumped, some danced, and some stretched their arms wide!
Then, the children took off their shoes and used sponges and big paintbrushes.
They used their hands, feet, and whole bodies to paint on big paper.
It was something they don’t usually do, and the children loved it!
They felt free and happy to make art in a new way.
P.S. Sorry for the mess on their clothes and bodies!
See you again, Lilly
This week, we had a special but bittersweet day as we said farewell to our dear friend Lilly. We shared warm hugs and many happy memories together.
Although we feel sad that Lilly is leaving, we are truly grateful for all the wonderful times we spent with her.
We will always remember Lilly’s bright smile, kind heart, and the way she made everyone around her happy.
We wish her lots of joy and exciting new adventures ahead.
But we are not going to say goodbye to you, Lilly!
See you again soon—we’re looking forward to it!
Have a lovely weekend.
Best regards,
Ms. Miho
